Job summary

Radisson Blu Hotel, Liverpool is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the hotel’s maintenance and engineering operations. You will oversee a proactive team, manage preventative maintenance, and ensure all spaces meet the highest standards for guest comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates bring HVAC, electrical and building maintenance expertise, strong leadership, and budgeting skills. Flexible hours and on-call availability are required to keep the property running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a maintenance or engineering management role.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building upkeep expertise.
• Proven leadership for motivated teams.
• Financial acumen to manage budgets and contracts.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Flexible to cover evenings, weekends and on-call duties.
• Passion for safe, well-functioning environments for guests.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of maintaining high hotel standards across guest spaces and back-of-house areas.
• Lead and inspire the maintenance team with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Design and oversee a preventative maintenance programme to extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly.
• Manage department budget, negotiate supplier contracts, prioritise repairs.
• Conduct regular safety and quality inspections across the property.
• Foster continuous improvement and upskill the team with best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with tools and maintenance techniques for innovation.
