Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a Laundry Assistant at Kents Hill Park, Milton Keynes, to support daily hotel laundry duties in a busy environment. The role involves sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linen, while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards.

You will work closely with the Housekeeping team and other departments to ensure clean linen is available when needed, with attention to detail and a reliable, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sorting, washing, drying, folding and storing hotel linen, towels and other laundry.
• Making sure clean laundry is available to the relevant hotel departments when needed.
• Checking linen and laundry for stains, damage or wear and reporting any issues.
• Operating laundry equipment safely and following the correct procedures.
• Keeping the laundry room clean, tidy and organised.
• Making sure laundry is handled and stored hygienically at all times.
• Helping to maintain appropriate stock levels of linen and reporting shortages.
• Working closely with the Housekeeping team and other departments to support the smooth running of the hotel.
• Following all health & safety, hygiene and COSHH procedures.
• Supporting the wider housekeeping team when required.
