Job summary

Premier Inn in Carlisle is seeking a Kitchen Team Member for 20 hours per week. The role includes preparing, cooking and serving meals as part of guests' stays, with shifts that include evenings and weekends. Pay is up to £13.06 per hour, with a permanent contract and guaranteed hours.

You'll join a team responsible for timely meals, stock handling, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. No hotel experience is required, and training is provided to help you progress within Premier Inn.

We're currently recruiting in our Carlisle Central Premier Inn. Working 20 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Premier Inn

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 20 contracted hours per week.

Location: Walkmill Crescent, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA1 2WF

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients before service starts

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
