Job summary

Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team of housekeeping staff and ensure guest bedrooms and public areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

You will prepare daily worksheets, supervise team members, perform room inspections, and maintain rota/payroll records. A hospitality mindset and strong supervisory skills are essential to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a housekeeping supervisor, ideally within a hotel environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Passion for hospitality and guest-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily worksheets for the housekeeping team and allocate rooms.
• Supervise Housekeeping Assistants and Public Area staff.
• Conduct daily inspections of guestrooms and address issues promptly.
• Maintain records of rotas, payroll, overtime, absences and holidays.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure rooms meet presentation and cleanliness standards.
