Job summary

Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team and ensure guest bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness and presentation standards.

You will prepare daily worksheets, supervise front-line staff, and conduct daily room inspections to promptly resolve any issues, always prioritising exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as housekeeping supervisor in a hotel environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Passion for hospitality and placing the guest at the heart of everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily worksheets for the housekeeping team in line with the rota and allocate rooms accordingly.
• Supervise Housekeeping Assistants, Public Area Cleaners and Linen Porters to maintain high standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of guestrooms to ensure cleanliness and address issues promptly.
• Respond to guest requests and special requirements to consistently exceed expectations.
• Maintain accurate records of rotas, payroll, overtime, absences and holidays.
• Monitor staffing levels daily and weekly to ensure adequate resourcing.
• Ensure all rooms meet presentation and cleanliness standards.
