Job summary

LGH - Best Western, Hull Humber View Hotel, is seeking an experienced Hotel Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and uphold high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, and ensure consistent presentation across rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities include rostering, budgeting, stock control, and maintaining procedures that guarantee quality and service excellence for guests.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support the housekeeping team, providing regular coaching, feedback and performance development.
• Ensure all guest rooms, public areas and back of house spaces meet consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Recruit, train and develop team members, helping them feel confident, capable and supported in their roles.
• Develop and maintain housekeeping procedures that provide clarity, consistency and quality.
• Plan and manage rosters, allocate tasks effectively and ensure daily duties are completed to a high standard.
• Monitor and control housekeeping budgets, including labour and supply costs.
• Manage stock levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and cost control.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns, ensuring issues are resolved with care and efficiency.
