Millennium Hotel Glasgow is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant to welcome guests and deliver attentive service across our restaurant and bar. You will recommend menu items, handle orders and payments, and help maintain high presentation standards.

Ideal candidates will have prior F&B exposure, excellent communication, and a positive, proactive approach to teamwork. This role requires flexibility for early mornings, evenings and weekend shifts in a vibrant city center hotel.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
• Proactive and positive approach to teamwork.
• Experience handling cash and card payments.
• Familiarity with Micros POS systems (desirable).
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality food and beverage service within our restaurant and bar areas.
• Providing knowledgeable recommendations and communicating menu and beverage options to guests.
• Processing payments accurately, including cash, card and room charge transactions, in line with company procedures.
• Creating positive guest experiences by providing friendly, professional and attentive service.
• Responding promptly to guest enquiries and ensuring any requests are handled efficiently.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of service and presentation.
