Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to support guest experiences at our UK hotels. You’ll gain structured training through the Dalata Academy and have opportunities to advance as you demonstrate dedication and drive within a friendly team environment.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will deliver warm, efficient service, learn about food and wine, upsell where appropriate, and contribute to a positive, professional dining atmosphere across early mornings,

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment is required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine and be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverage.
