Job Description

Job title: Chef de Partie

Salary: Up to 30,000 GBP

Location: Lyme Regis, Dorset

Accommodation provided: Yes

Charge for accommodation: 75.00 GBP per week

Type of contract: Permanent

Workplace description: Set in a fabulous location with beautiful private gardens and magnificent views, the atmosphere of the hotel is warm, friendly and welcoming with thoughtful service to make you feel truly at home.

Main duties and responsibilities:
  1. Assist and supports the head chef in food preparation
  2. Prepares the starters as well as the vegetables
  3. Coordinates banqueting events alongside the banquet manager
  4. Provides support to the restaurants sales and marketing team
  5. Is involved in the training of lower cadre staff
  6. Helps with menu planning
  7. Oversees breakfast preparation and service
  8. Meal preparation
  9. Oversees food preparation, cooking and presentation in the restaurant
  10. Enforces safety, health and hygiene standards in the kitchen
  11. Troubleshoots any problems that may arise in the kitchen
  12. Ensures that food goes to the customers in a timely manner
  13. Manages and supervises the commis chefs that work under them
Essential criteria:

Previous experience of working as a Chef de Partie in at least 1 Rosette standard establishment.
