Job summary

Reed is seeking a field-based Service Engineer to visit customer sites across the UK, performing maintenance on hot tubs, diagnosing faults, and ensuring safety and hygiene standards. You will manage scheduling, service records, and parts inventory while communicating clearly with customers.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service engineer, preferably with hot tubs, pools, or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair faults and work independently.
• Capable of working in various weather conditions and handling tools.
• Excellent communication to explain technical details to customers.
• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Electrical or plumbing certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance checks and servicing of hot tubs to ensure functionality and hygiene.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in hot tub systems (electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
• Provide clear communication to customers on maintenance, repairs and safe usage.
• Manage service diary and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Manage inventory of parts and tools required for service tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of service schedules, customer interactions and invoicing.
• Ensure health and safety regulations on-site and in transit.
