Job summary

Away Resorts is seeking a friendly hot tub maintenance assistant at Tattershall Lakes, Lincolnshire. You will keep on-site hot tubs in excellent condition, test chemicals daily, drain and fill on changeover days, and support guests with a welcoming service.

You will join the holiday hero team, working weekends and bank holidays as needed to ensure guests enjoy a relaxing break at our UK resort network.

Qualifications

• Friendly and helpful attitude when you meet guests and good at communicating within your team.
• Talent for practical jobs and for troubleshooting when problems arise.
• Be open to learning – experience isn’t as important as eagerness to learn.
• Be willing to turn your hand to anything – guests come first, so you need to be alert to their needs and ready to help.
• Full UK Drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Look after all hot tubs on site; ensure they are working, drain and fill on changeover days, test daily, and adjust chemicals.
• Be flexible and willing to help beyond your role; customer needs come first.
• Work weekends and bank holidays as holidays happen at holiday times.

What we need in a nutshell

Some of our fabulous holiday homes come complete with luxury hot tubs. We want you to keep those hot tubs in tip top condition for our guests.

Some of the background

We’re not your average holiday company. Our guests come to our UK resorts to experience a world away from their day-to-day. When they are with us, they play crazy games, enjoy show-stopping entertainment and live in the moment. Our job is to surprise and delight them at every turn.

We need you to be our friendly hot tub hero, who delivers delight by making sure that our guests’ hot tubs are working, ready, and waiting whenever they feel like taking a dip.

What you’ll be doing

Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be helping to look after all our hot tubs on site. You’ll make sure they are working properly, drain and fill them on changeover days and test them every day, adjusting the chemicals if you need to.

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. As long as you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on weekends bank holidays too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need.

We’ll provide training, but you must:
