Job summary

Away Resorts is seeking a Hot Tubs Assistant to keep guest hot tubs in top condition across Hemel Hempstead, Tattershall Lakes and Cleethorpes Pearl Holiday Park. This seasonal contract offers £12.71 per hour, paid weekly, with variable hours and weekend/bank holiday work.

You will drain/fill on changeover days, test daily, and adjust chemicals. A friendly attitude, good communication, practical skills, willingness to learn, and a full UK driving license are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure hot tubs are in good working order.
• Drain and fill hot tubs on changeover days.
• Test water and adjust chemicals daily.
• Respond to guest needs and troubleshoot issues.
• Willingness to help with other tasks during busy periods.

What we need in a nutshell

Some of our fabulous holiday homes come complete with luxury hot tubs. We want you to keep those hot tubs in tip top condition for our guests.

Who are we:

We are a dynamic and growing company, shaking up the Great British holiday. Retallack Resort and Spa is located in the picturesque Cornish countryside and open all year round. With exclusive barns and lodges to stay in, an aqua park and activities to entertain the whole family & to top it off we have Cornwall's only FlowRider.

We need you to be our friendly hot tub hero, who delivers delight by making sure that our guests’ hot tubs are working, ready, and waiting whenever they feel like taking a dip.

Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be helping to look after all our hot tubs on site. You’ll make sure they are working properly, drain and fill them on changeover days and test them every day, adjusting the chemicals if you need to.

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. As long as you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on weekends bank holidays too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need.

We’ll provide training, but you must:

• Have a friendly and helpful attitude when you meet guests and good at communicating within your team.
• Have a talent for practical jobs and for troubleshooting when problems arise.
• Be open to learning – experience isn’t as important as eagerness to learn
• Be willing to turn your hand to anything – guests come first, so you need to be alert to their needs and ready to help.
• Full UK Drivers license required.

Nice to have but not essential.

It would be great if you tick some of these boxes too (but we won’t hold it against you if you don’t).

• Experience of working as part of a team.
