Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking a Hosting Platform Engineer (Unix/Linux) for a 6-month contract in London. The role covers patching, lifecycle maintenance, and security hardening across UNIX/Linux environments with a focus on enterprise standards.

You will handle OS and middleware patching, Oracle WebLogic, JBoss EAP, and Java platforms, ensuring reliability through DR validation and controlled rolling upgrades. Hybrid work with 2 days in London per week.

Job description

Manage and execute operating system, middleware, application server, and Java platform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle maintenance across UNIX/Linux environments. Perform security hardening, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, cluster patching, rolling upgrades, rollback planning, disaster recovery validation, and post-patch testing while ensuring compliance with enterprise security and change management standards.
