Job summary

Arm is seeking a Hosting Platform Engineer to join our London team on a 6-month contract with hybrid working (2 days per week in London office).

You will manage patching, upgrades and lifecycle maintenance across UNIX/Linux environments (RHEL/Solaris/AIX), perform security hardening and DR validation, and ensure change control compliance as part of enterprise-grade operations.

Qualifications

• Experience patching and lifecycle maintenance on UNIX/Linux systems.
• Security hardening and vulnerability remediation experience.
• Proficient with Red Hat Satellite and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Java platforms and application servers.

Responsibilities

• Manage OS, middleware, and application server patching and upgrades.
• Perform security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
• Coordinate rollback planning and disaster recovery validation.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and change management standards.
• Conduct post-patch testing and validation.

Job description

Manage and execute operating system, middleware, application server, and Java platform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle maintenance across UNIX/Linux environments. Perform security hardening, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, cluster patching, rolling upgrades, rollback planning, disaster recovery validation, and post-patch testing while ensuring compliance with enterprise security and change management standards.
