Job summary

Granger & Co. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Host who reflects our bright and welcoming vibe. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, help manage queues and bookings, and support the daily rhythm of a busy restaurant.

We value organised, customer-focused individuals with hospitality experience who can stay calm during busy shifts and contribute to a memorable Granger & Co. experience across all areas of service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a host or maître d' is preferred.
• Ability to manage a busy shift and adapt quickly.
• Friendly, sunny and welcoming demeanor.
• Experience with booking systems and managing queues.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the restaurant and the door.
• Be the first point of contact and give guests a Granger welcome.
• Manage the booking system, especially for large events.
• Oversee the virtual queue and ensure guests feel special.

A Little About This Role

• A vital support to the operations of the restaurants


• Supporting the day to day running of the restaurant and most importantly, the door


• Being the first person our customers interact with giving them that Granger welcome


• Where applicable, managing the booking system especially with large events


• Managing our virtual queue and making sure every customer feels special.
