Job summary

Cafe Murano in Covent Garden is seeking a friendly Host to join our vibrant front-of-house team. You will manage bookings, take reservations by phone and email, and help welcome guests with a warm, professional manner.

You should have at least 6 months’ experience in a similar restaurant, be fluent in English, and enjoy teamwork. We offer a sociable environment, regular training, career development, and staff meals.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Warm and welcoming attitude.
• Experience in a similar restaurant for 6+ months.
• Experience working with online reservations platforms like Seven Rooms.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookings and take reservations by phone and email.
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
• Provide a warm, welcoming guest reception and seating process.
• Support team during busy periods and help maintain standards.
• Assist with daily front-of-house operations as needed.

The successful Host will

• Be fluent in English
• Have a warm and welcoming attitude
• Manage bookings and take reservations on the phone and via email
• Work closely with the front-of-house team
• Have experience in a similar restaurant for over 6 months
• Have experience working with Seven Rooms or a similar online reservations platform
