Job summary

Green & Fortune is seeking an experienced Host to join Rotunda Restaurant at Kings Place in London. You will greet guests, manage seating, and support the floor to ensure outstanding service. Strong English communication and a friendly, detail-oriented approach are essential for success.

This role involves handling reservations, events inquiries, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism in a busy environment. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Green & Fortune is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hostto join our team at Rotunda Restaurant in Kings Place. We are seeking individuals who thrive in a busy bar and restaurant environment. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills with a strong command of English, and a genuine passion for the industry. A friendly nature, a can-do attitude, and a keen eye for detail are also essential qualities we are looking for.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

• Ensure that guests are greeted and dealt with promptly after being seated at a table and in accordance with the order of service.
• Interact with customers and support the floor where necessary
• Manage reservations, enquiries and ensure table assignment is balanced for the service via email and telephone
• Lease with guests on equiries and manage events enquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant and overall customer satisfaction
• Uphold the highest standards of customer service and professionalism

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Host / Receptionistin a similar setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
