ABOUT CHIEF'S

Located at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Broadway, Chief's is a six-story bar, restaurant, and live music venue designed to celebrate Eric Church's ever-expanding musical legacy. ABOUT THE ROLE

The Host is the first impression for our guests by welcoming them into Chief's and introducing them to the experience. The Host, at all times, is an example of hospitality and service while assuming full responsibility for supporting the guest experience, maintenance, cleanliness and organization of the venue.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

· Welcome guests to the venue

· Support guests with providing directions to different levels

· Check-in and seating guests for the restaurant

· Using Resy, our reservation system

· Using an in-depth knowledge of programming throughout the venue to answer questions

· Check-in guests for VIP experiences

· Follow all Steps of Service and brand standards

· Create a hospitable, welcoming, and memorable experience for all guests

· Ensure all Federal, State and City laws and ordinances are followed with regards to the handling and responsible sale of alcoholic beverages

· Ensure par levels for all supplies including proper containers for both food and beverage service

· Attend trainings as mandated by the Leadership team

· Maintain a well-groomed, professional, and polished appearance

· Keep working knowledge of Chief's brand, history, culture, and programming

· Navigate venue conditions, including tight spaces, dark rooms, and loud environment

· Ensure all spaces are set according to plans

· Maintain daily inventories of all menus and music collateral throughout the venue

· Maintain an organized and clean workspace

· Ensure that work areas are properly supplied for operational success

· Maintain positive guest engagement and create memorable experiences

· Take initiative, follow-through on requests until completion, and utilize a keen attention to detail

· Perform other related duties as assigned by the Leadership team

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

· Prior hosting experience in high-volume, fast paced restaurant, live music venue or similar environment preferred

· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results- oriented, restaurant/bar/venue environment

· Exceptional guest service and hospitality skills

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic

· Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work both as a team and independently

· Ability to take direction, and communicate effectively and professionally

· Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, able to lift loads of up to 50 lbs.

· Able to work rapidly, especially during peak periods to ensure that all guests are being serviced properly and necessary operational tasks are being completed in a timely manner

· Ability to sustain loud noise volume
