Woodlands Care Home is seeking a Host to create a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents and visitors. The role involves front-line service, maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards, and coordinating with kitchen and care teams.
The position is part-time (33.25 hours per week) with a weekend on/off pattern, paid holiday and benefits in a supportive care environment in Aberdeen. PVG, pension and uniform are provided where applicable.
Our care home, nestled in the tranquil Craigiebuckler area of Aberdeen, offers distinguished care services tailored to a variety of needs, including Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite, and Palliative care. With a capacity for 81 residents, we provide a serene and supportive environment where personalized care meets exceptional living.

Role Overview
As Host, you will play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming and well organised dining experience. This is a front facing role where your attention to detail and friendly approach will help ensure every mealtime feels enjoyable, relaxed and well managed.
You will oversee the day to day presentation and smooth running of dining areas, supporting residents and visitors while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and service. From preparing the dining environment to serving refreshments and supporting mealtimes, your role will contribute directly to comfort, routine and overall wellbeing.
Working closely with the kitchen and care teams, you will help create a positive and inclusive environment where individuals feel valued and supported.
