Abbey Hotel Bath is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by proactively pursuing corporate, group, and event business. You will manage relationships with clients, travel partners and agencies while collaborating with Revenue, Marketing and Events to convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.

The role requires a proven sales track record in hospitality, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage a CRM-driven pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager in hospitality or a similar industry.
• Strong track record of proactive sales and account management, hitting targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the hotel's sales strategy and account plan to achieve revenue targets across rooms, meetings and events.
• Proactively identify, target and secure new business from corporate, group and MICE clients.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing corporate accounts, travel agents and tour operators.
• Conduct sales calls, site inspections and client entertainment to build relationships and secure business.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts and rate agreements for corporate and group business.
• Manage the sales pipeline and CRM system with accurate leads and opportunities.
