Qualifications

• At least two years of proactive sales experience in hospitality, hotels or events.
• Strong local business development skills with ability to build relationships in the corporate market.
• Confident communication and presentation skills for professional engagement.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own transport for client meetings and events.

Responsabilités

• Identify and develop new local corporate opportunities and build relationships with businesses and key contacts.
• Monitor local activity, market trends and opportunities for meetings, banqueting, events and accommodation.
• Understand demand drivers in the local area and capture business when hotels are busy.
• Proactively generate new business through client visits, sales appointments and partnerships.
• Develop relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat business across meetings, conferences, banqueting and events.
• Work with the Director of Sales to deliver proactive activity and achieve revenue targets and KPIs.
• Manage your sales pipeline and ensure opportunities are followed up and converted.
