Job summary

Caring Homes Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to oversee all dining, hospitality and housekeeping within one of our care homes. You will ensure high standards of dining quality, service and resident comfort, while leading a team with warmth and professionalism.

Your focus on person-centred care and smooth operations will help create a home-from-home experience for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably within a care home or similar environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and nutrition in a care home setting is desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dining operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
• Ensure dining areas are set up to provide a welcoming and pleasant environment.
• Implement and maintain hygiene and safety standards in all dining areas.
• Manage all aspects of hospitality services, including resident events, special occasions, and family visits.
• Train and supervise dining, hospitality and housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Foster a culture of warmth, respect, and attentiveness among all staff members.
• Build strong relationships with residents and their families to understand and meet their individual preferences and needs.
• Organise and coordinate dining-related activities and events that promote social interaction and enjoyment.
• Address and resolve any concerns or complaints related to dining and hospitality services promptly and professionally.

Dining Experience

• 80 Bedded Nursing, Dementia and Residential Care Home
• Full time; 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday
• Occasional weekends
