Job summary

The Crazy Goose in Brighton is seeking an experienced Restaurant & Bar Supervisor to lead a busy restaurant and bar team, and to ensure guests receive an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.

You’ll oversee opening and closing, reservations, stocktakes, cash-ups and guest feedback with confidence, while using your knowledge of food, wine and cocktails to guide the team and maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a busy restaurant and/or bar environment.
• Genuine passion for food, wine, cocktails and beverages.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage and confidence to make recommendations to guests.
• Confident leading a team during busy services and able to motivate staff.
• Open/close the restaurant and manage end-of-day cash-ups.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Eligible to work full-time in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the restaurant and bar during service.
• Oversee reservations and guest enquiries, ensuring a seamless guest journey.
• Carry out stocktakes, end-of-service cash-ups and compliance with procedures.
• Provide knowledge-based recommendations on food, wine and beverages to guests.
• Support and motivate the team to uphold high standards of service.
