Job summary

Andaz London Liverpool Street is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our hospitality team. You will manage inventory, receive deliveries, maintain stores, and contact suppliers for discrepancies to reduce spoilage and ensure stock integrity.

The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, the ability to inspect and record deliveries accurately, and a collaborative mindset to work with colleagues, suppliers and other departments in Hyatt’s fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, receiving and stock control preferred.
• Strong numerical skills and accuracy in inspecting/recording deliveries.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase orders and requisitions
• Maintaining store areas and the receiving bay in an organised, clean and tidy manner
• Ensuring suppliers are contacted for discrepancies
• Monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage
• Maintain Hygiene certificates files and ensure Temperature checks on Fresh Meat / Fish supplies
• Receiving goods in the loading bay
• Provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues, supplier delivery personnel and other departments
• Familiar with Hotel promotions
• Establish rapport with guests and provide guest recognition and good customer relations
