Job summary

Miiro Hotels in Greater London is seeking a detail‑oriented Goods Receiver to join our team. You will manage deliveries, check quality, and maintain accurate stock records to support kitchen, bar and restaurant operations.

This role emphasises food safety, HACCP compliance, and close collaboration with Procurement and Finance to ensure timely stock distribution. A proactive, independent worker with Excel and stock software experience will thrive in our hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Goods Receiver, Storekeeper, or similar in hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP and health & safety regulations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy goods and operate storage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and record all incoming deliveries for the hotel with accuracy.
• Inspect goods for damages and discrepancies against standards.
• Ensure proper storage and stock rotation in line with food safety rules.
• Collaborate with kitchen, restaurant and bar teams for stock distribution.
• Maintain an accurate stock control system with regular counts.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery issues and discrepancies.
• Monitor costs and identify cost-efficient vendors.
• Maintain price updates on stock count sheets and ensure accuracy.
• Comply with HACCP, health and safety regulations in storage areas.
• Assist in preparing purchase orders with Procurement and Finance.
• Keep receiving and storage areas clean and organized.
