Job summary

Leeds Marriott Hotel is seeking a Human Resources Officer to support the smooth operation of the HR function. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, development and engagement for associates across the hotel, in a full-time, 40-hour week.

You will work closely with colleagues and leaders, maintaining records, assisting with payroll-related tasks and delivering HR initiatives to enhance the associate experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources and supporting employee journeys from recruitment to engagement.
• Knowledge of employment practices and HR processes.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of the HR department.
• Assist with recruitment, selection, interviews and onboarding of new associates.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Support managers and associates with HR queries, policies and procedures.
• Assist with employee relations, absence management, performance management and investigations.
