Job summary

Eastwood Hall, Nottinghamshire, is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the Housekeeping team, maintain luxury standards across bedrooms and public areas, and work with Reception, Maintenance and Duty Management to ensure a seamless guest experience.

You will supervise in the absence of senior staff, monitor cleanliness, safety and presentation, and support training and development within the department. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or supporting a Housekeeping team is desirable.
• Strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent organisational skills and prioritisation ability.
• Strong communication across departments and with guests.
• Proactive approach to training and developing colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Housekeeping team in the absence of senior staff to ensure duties are covered.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety and presentation across bedrooms and public areas.
• Carry out regular checks to meet required standards.
• Check and report maintenance issues and ensure equipment is in good order.
• Manage stock levels within the department and support smooth venue operations.
• Collaborate with Reception, Porters and Duty Management to support operations.
• Record room status and guest details using computer systems.
• Support induction and training of new Housekeeping team members.
• Contribute to health, safety and COSHH compliance and energy/water conservation.
