Job summary

Jesus College, Cambridge invites applications for a General Manager to steer hospitality operations across conferences, accommodation and retail. The role leads operational teams, drives service standards, financial performance and compliance, and ensures an exceptional customer experience.

Working with Head Chef, Sales and Events Team, Manciple and senior stakeholders, you will shape strategy, culture and delivery of all events and venues within the college.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Hospitality, Business Management or Events Management.
• Significant experience managing hospitality operations, accommodation, conference, events and retail.
• Experience in large conference venue and/or hotel.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to operational teams and ensure high service standards.
• Drive financial performance, compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Head Chef, Sales & Events Team, Manciple and senior stakeholders.
• Deliver successful hospitality operations and events.
