Job summary

Bartlett Mitchell is seeking an experienced Hospitality chef to join our multi award-winning contract catering team. You’ll cook fine dining and corporate buffets, working lunches and canapé events, in a busy service environment while maintaining top standards of production.

You’ll lead a team with strong communication, budgeted menus, stock controls and continuous learning. Two years’ experience and C&G 706 1&2 or NVQ or equivalent are required; monthly masterclasses with Michelin-starred chefs

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar-sized operation.
• C&G 706 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent.
• Proven track record in award-winning cuisine.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fine dining and corporate canapés, and buffets.
• Manage menus with cost controls and stock monitoring.
• Lead and inspire the kitchen team in a busy service.
• Deliver high standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with clients and staff.

You must be a passionate and confident Hospitality chef looking for an opportunity to cook amazing fine dining food as well as corporate buffet, working lunches and Canape events.

With sound financial and legislative knowledge, you understand how to achieve targets, plan balanced, well-costed menus and monitor stock levels and controls. And you’ll inspire your team too, promoting a culture of working together to achieve customer satisfaction and exceed expectations. An effective communicator with a strong customer focus, you’ll gain valuable feedback to measure success and be committed to continuous learning.

With two years’ experience working in a similar-sized operation and educated to C & G 706 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent experience, you’ll have an exciting portfolio of awards, demonstrating the highest standards in the industry.
