Job summary

Chichester College is seeking an Hospitality Assistant to support students in the hospitality department. This flexible bank role allows assignments to fit your availability while you help learners develop practical skills.

You will work alongside lecturers and peers to ensure high standards of hygiene, safety, and classroom readiness, contributing to a positive learning environment for a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Time management and prioritisation skills.
• Proven ability to communicate to a diverse range of people at all ages and levels, verbally and in writing.
• GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.

Responsibilities

As our Hospitality Assistant you will:

• Guide students to develop industry skills in practical hospitality environment, supporting the smooth running of catering facilities.
• Maintain the highest health and safety standards to ensure that food and hygiene and safety regulations are obeyed.
• Ensure that the teaching environments in designated areas of the Hospitality section are prepared and maintained to a high standard to meet the HSAW and hygiene requirements.
