Job summary

Chichester College Group is seeking a Hospitality Assistant (Bank) to support students in our hospitality department with hands-on learning experiences. You will help run catering facilities and assist lecturers, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-organised teaching space.

You will work in a busy hospitality environment, balancing assignments with teaching duties, while developing practical skills and confidence in students. This role offers flexible hours and a meaningful local contribution.

Qualifications

• Time management and prioritisation are essential.
• Able to communicate clearly with students, staff and visitors both verbally and in writing.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide students to develop industry skills in practical hospitality environment and support the smooth running of catering facilities.
• Maintain health and safety standards to ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain teaching environments in Hospitality sections to meet HSAW and hygiene requirements.

As our Hospitality Assistant you will:

• Guide students to develop industry skills in practical hospitality environment, supporting the smooth running of catering facilities.
• Maintain the highest health and safety standards to ensure that food and hygiene and safety regulations are obeyed.
• Ensure that the teaching environments in designated areas of the Hospitality section are prepared and maintained to a high standard to meet the HSAW and hygiene requirements.
