Job summary

Caring Homes Group Ltd is looking for a Hospitality Assistant at Benson House Nursing Home in Wallingford. This role offers a hands-on blend of social care and hospitality in a 70-bed home, with a full-time 40-hour week and a competitive hourly rate of £12.71.

You will help with meal service, maintain dining room standards, and ensure residents and visitors receive warmth and professional service in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality service and making a difference in the lives of residents.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors by providing exceptional hospitality service.
• Assist with meal service, ensuring dietary needs and preferences of residents are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in dining and common areas.
• Build positive relationships with residents, staff, and visitors, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.
• Assist with other hospitality-related tasks as needed.
