Scope

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Hospitality Assistant to handle both F&B and Reception duties. The role's purpose is to provide first-class service to our members, their families, guests, and visitors, adhering to the Loveday Way of delivering outstanding hospitality in both Front of House and Food & Beverage operations. Reporting to the Head of Hospitality, you will work in a dual role, including F&B service and reception duties, greeting and assisting visitors to our care homes. The main focus is to ensure seamless F&B service and excellent guest reception.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival
  • Support kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • Prepare mise-en-place, ensure cutlery, plates, and glassware are polished
  • Set up tables according to Loveday standards
  • Follow service steps for meal service
  • Serve beverages and refreshments to members and guests
  • Keep fridges and snack areas stocked
  • Recognize regular visitors and interact warmly with families
  • Maintain stock levels of consumables with support from the Hospitality Lead
  • Ensure cleanliness in common areas and bathrooms, liaising with housekeeping
  • Respond to queries and direct clients as needed
  • Handle incoming calls and messages
  • Receive and sort deliveries and post
  • Monitor guests via CCTV and door entry systems
  • Keep the reception area tidy
  • Comply with all Health and Safety procedures
  • Provide ad hoc support as required
