Searcys is seeking a Hospitality Assistant for the Pump Room in Bath. The role involves serving food and drinks, supporting event operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a historic venue.

Key duties include bar service, coffee machine operation, and assisting with event logistics. The role operates 7 days a week with a salary of £12.71 per hour plus Tronc, under an hourly contract.

• Clean and polish all cutlery and glasses/crockery for the next event.
• Prepare hospitality food and beverage requests for customers/clients in designated spaces.

• Serve at licensed bars and operate coffee machines.
• Assist with deliveries as required and manage linen/equipment inventories.

Searcys are looking for Hospitality Assistant to join the team at the Pump Room in Bath.

As a Hospitality Assistant, you will be responsible for providing service excellence to our guests and clients on our events.

The Georgian Pump Room has been the social heart of Bath for more than two centuries, and boasts amongst its previous patrons Jane Austen and Charles Dickens.

Job Description

The Hospitality assistant will be supporting and monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guest and clearing throughout the event.

Job Type:0h hours Contract

7 days operation

Salary:£12.71 per hour plus Tronc.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and polish all cutlery and glasses/crockery for the next event
• Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests offered to customers/clients/guest in designated meeting spaces in a presentable manner.
• To be able to work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks without being directed.
• To serve our guests with a genuine and positive demeanour. All service should be efficient and of the highest quality.
• To work on licensed bars serving alcoholic beverages
• To be able to use coffee machines
• Assist with deliveries as required
• Preparation of all hospitality requirements ensuring all items are available and if not reporting this to your line manager
• Ensuring that any linen hired, and equipment hired for an event is counted and packed away for collection after the event.
