Our stunning care home, Grappenhall Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built 70-bed facility located in Warrington, Cheshire. We provide residential, nursing, and dementia care, investing in the latest technology and offering a comprehensive programme of daily activities and gentle exercise to enhance residents' wellbeing. All team members are carefully selected for their warmth and passion, with full induction and ongoing training through our in-house trainers and the New Care Academy. We pride ourselves on employing a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care, and all staff are paid at or above the national living wage.

We are seeking a kind, caring, and motivated Head of Hospitality to join our team. You will be responsible for organising the Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for our residents. Your duties will include dining room preparation, cleanliness, meal service, and team leadership, including rotas, training, and supervision. The role offers a 40-hour contract with an hourly rate of £12.44. Shift times are 0800-1900, with alternate weekends.

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure high standards of hospitality service.
• Support and assist visitors.
• Communicate any individual resident requirements to the Chef.
• Follow cleaning schedules and HACCP procedures.
• Adhere to all training and ensure proper record-keeping, including cleaning schedules, worksheets, fridge temperatures, and HACCP paperwork.
• Manage, allocate duties, and supervise the hospitality team to deliver quality care during shifts.
• Coach staff and support ongoing staff development.
• Promote safeguarding and the welfare of adults in contact with the post holder.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experience as a Dining or Restaurant Supervisor is essential.
• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable.
• Effective communication skills are essential.
• Participation in home-organised activities is required.
