Job summary

Hopwood Hall is seeking a Work Based Tutor for Hospitality & Catering on a part-time basis (21.6 hours per week) at Middleton. The role focuses on training apprentices to pass the End Point Assessment, developing and delivering engaging teaching resources and monitoring progress through an e-portfolio system.

A driving license/own transport is required. You will manage a caseload, recruit learners, liaise with employers, and ensure compliance with awarding body requirements.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal and communication skills to support learners.
• Ability to coordinate and manage caseloads of apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Support a caseload of up to 40 apprentices (pro rata for part-time) to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Recruit learners onto programmes and maintain relationships with employers.
• Conduct initial assessments and recruit with integrity for ILP targets.
• Deliver learning activities and formative assessments in workplace and college settings.
