Job summary

Hopwood Hall is seeking a Work Based Tutor in Hospitality & Catering to train apprentices across a wide range of skills and behaviours. The role develops and delivers engaging teaching resources and manages a structured learning programme with formative feedback.

Applicants should have extensive industry experience, with a minimum L3 qualification and Maths/English Level 2. The position includes a pro rata salary based on 21.6 hours per week and requires own transport.

Qualifications

• Appropriate minimum L3 qualification for the skills requirement.
• Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent.
• Desirable: Assessor qualification (D32/33/A1).
• Desirable: Internal Verification Qualification (D34/V1).

Responsibilities

• Support a caseload of apprentices and manage progress against learning targets.
• Deliver teaching and formative assessments in workplace and college settings.
• Coordinate assessments and ensure compliance with awarding body requirements.
• Develop resources and ensure quality assurance across the apprenticeship programme.
