Job summary

With You in Shrewsbury is seeking a Hospital Link Worker on a fixed-term contract to support recovery care. You will help clients identify goals, craft treatment plans, and coordinate inpatient/outpatient services at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital within the Drug and Alcohol team.

The role is full-time and until March 2028, with some Saturday work and a valid UK driving licence required. We offer a competitive starting salary and progression in pay bands.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and motivated candidate with strong relationship-building skills.
• Experience in health, social care, criminal justice or related field preferred.
• Able to take basic health checks (height, weight, pulse, BP).
• Highly organised, with excellent communication and time-management.
• Collaborative team player committed to high-quality service.
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to identify goals and develop tailored recovery plans.
• Establish and maintain hospital liaison services for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Work at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and contribute to the Drug and Alcohol team.
