Job summary

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Relief Housekeeper on a part-time basis (20 hours) at West Park Hospital. You will work shifts from 7am to 6pm within the Hospital Services team, supporting cleaning, catering, and high standards of patient care.

The role requires Food Hygiene Level 2, numeracy/literacy at level 2, and a commitment to confidentiality and safety in a NHS setting.

Qualifications

• Food Hygiene Certificate must be held or pursued within 12 months.
• Numeracy and Literacy at Level 2 or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 2 in Housekeeping desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning and catering support across offices, patient and communal areas.
• Work within the Hotel Services team to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Be flexible to short-notice changes and extra hours.
