Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a registered Pharmacy Technician to join the Clinical Team. You will support medicines reconciliation, inpatient supply, discharge processes and patient counselling, while developing skills through in-house accreditation and progression from Band 4 to Band 5 post‑accreditation.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with current registration.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with medicines reconciliation, inpatient dispensing, or ward-based services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Improve quality of patient care through an efficient medicines management system, including PODS, inpatient supply, near-patient discharge, and patient counselling.
• Support the medicines management strategy with ward-based technical services.
• Rotate across defined clinical areas and support flexible working arrangements.
