Job summary

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a talented Multi-Skilled Maintenance Steriliser Technician to join the Engineering Team at Colchester Hospital.

The role involves maintenance, repairs and modifications to Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services, with shift work including Saturdays and on-call rota. Experience with Porous Loads, Unwrapped Instrument and Utensils, Washer Disinfectors and Sonic Baths is required.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds level qualification
• 2 years' experience in Porous Loads; Unwrapped Instrument and Utensils; Washer Disinfectors and Sonic Baths.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair, maintenance and installation of plant, equipment, systems and building fabric.
• Planned Preventive Maintenance, testing and calibration, faultfinding and emergency response.
• On-call rota participation and shift work including Saturdays.
