Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Crewe is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to support the Estates & Facilities Division. You will undertake a diverse range of maintenance, repair and installation work across Trust properties to keep buildings, plant and services safe and fully operational.

The role requires flexibility and the ability to work independently or with contractors, applying your skills across multiple maintenance disciplines to support healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent structured training programme in an engineering discipline.
• Relevant post-qualification experience in maintenance or engineering services.
• Strong technical background and practical problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• To carry out or oversee the repair/maintenance installation of complex plant and equipment associated with premises administered by the Estates & Facilities Division.
