Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Inventory Management Assistant to join the Procurement Department at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. You will support the Inventory Management Team Leader and Manager in replenishing stock and ensuring stock levels are accurate across wards and departments.

You will engage with clinical staff to coordinate stock takes, manage variances, and help maintain efficient stock control.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in inventory management or purchasing settings.
• Qualification in purchasing and supplies or willingness to complete the appropriate course.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clinical staff.

Aufgaben

• Replenish stock in wards and departments across the Trust.
• Receipting goods to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Find stock replacements when items are out of stock.
• Agree stock levels with Ward Managers/Sisters.
• Liaise with Category team on stock or stock-outs.
• Manual handling of stock and moving roll cages as needed.
• Conduct regular stock counts and audits.
• Support team members during holidays or sickness.
• Adjust stock records to reflect actual counts.
