Job summary

Calderdale and Huddersfield Solutions Ltd (CHS) at Calderdale Royal Hospital in Halifax is seeking an Inventory Materials Management Assistant to manage medical/surgical consumable stock and support the Materials Management Team. The role requires accuracy, pace, and a team-focused attitude in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• GCSE passes including Maths and English are required.
• NVQ Level 3 in a customer-focused discipline is required.
• Willingness to undertake further study; Health and Safety COSHH knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Replenish goods in all areas using stock inventory systems and iProc.
• Maintain stock levels within agreed standards and rotate stock.
• Provide reports and act as a focal point for stock communications.
• Maintain materials management records for the client.
• Ensure procurement services are delivered cost-effectively.
• Collaborate with team and Procurement colleagues.
• Build strong relationships with Trust staff and customers.
