Equans invites applications for an Administration Apprentice (PPM and Asset) at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. This 24-month fixed-term contract is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a competitive salary and benefits.

You will assist in supporting planned preventative maintenance, updating statutory records, and using CAFM software to maintain asset information, while learning in a professional FM environment.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Due to the nature of the contract, you will be required to obtain and maintain a DBS at Standard Level.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a 24/7 maintenance service for Portsmouth Hospitals University Trust within the service provider team.
• Help coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities, ensuring optimal allocation of work, manpower, and resources.
• Support the scheduling and completion of all Statutory and Mandatory inspections and maintenance.
• Maintain and update statutory, contractual, and compliance records accurately.
• Update the computerised maintenance management system (CAFM) and manual records.
• Assist in producing operational and compliance reports as required.
• Provide asset-related advice and support within core technical areas.
• Promote excellent customer service to internal and external partners.
