Job summary
Equans is seeking an Assistant Electrical Technical Manager for Portsmouth’s Queen Alexandra Hospital. The role involves planning and conducting LV inspections, producing EICRs, and maintaining compliance records within the CAFM system.

Qualifications
- Qualified electrical engineer with City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
- Experience producing EICRs and associated BS 7671 documentation.
- Extensive experience with LV and HV electrical installations in healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform periodic inspection and testing of LV installations in the hospital estate.
- Produce EICRs, Minor Works Certificates and Electrical Installation Certificates as required.
- Maintain compliance documentation within the CAFM system and ensure statutory records are up to date.
- Support 24-hour maintenance service and liaise with estates management on electrical infrastructure issues.
- Assist in site life-cycle delivery and compliance planning, with a focus on safety and regulatory standards.
