Job summary

Thermatic Technical FM is seeking a skilled Static Fabric Engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance in a hospital setting. The role covers a mobile London area, with early starts, late finishes, and night works possible.

Key duties include fabric repairs, basic plumbing, decorating, and building services in clinical and non-clinical areas. An on-call rota is involved to ensure patient care continuity.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, Carpentry or Building Maintenance Operations.
• Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant building trade.
• City & Guilds equivalent trade qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out air conditioning and refrigeration service, installation, and maintenance for VRVs, VRFs, splits and chillers.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance per PPM schedules.
• Provide timely timesheet information and assist with quotations when needed.
• Support junior engineers and participate in 24h on-call rota.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and site procedures.
