Job summary

The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Engineering department on a full-time basis. The role covers 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern.

Candidates should hold CSCS (and ECS if electrical), City & Guilds Part 3/ONC/NVQ3, and a served apprenticeship; responsibilities include maintenance across hospital sites, and mentoring site technicians.

Qualifications

• CSCS card at appropriate level; ECS card if electrical.
• Time served apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines and L8 Legionella ACOP.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for maintenance and repairs.
• Provide routine and specialised engineering maintenance and breakdown support.
• Mentor and train site technicians and assistants.
