South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting for a Catering Assistant/Cook based at Kendray Hospital in Barnsley. You will join the hospital catering team to provide safe, nutritious meals for patients, staff and visitors, and participate in functions and special events.

We offer a supportive NHS environment with staff uniform provided and adherence to food hygiene standards in a fast-paced kitchen. Weekend and bank holiday work are included where required.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrable catering experience.
• Relevant experience of team working.
• Experience of dealing with customers.
• Experience in till operation.

Aufgaben

• To provide a safe and nutritious meal service to patients, staff and visitors, participate in the preparation of functions and special events.
• To work as part of a team and assist in developing the catering services to reach its full potential.
• As and when required to work on other Trust sites to ensure the smooth running of the Trust wide catering services.

Ausbildung

706/1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ grade

Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
