HydraPower Dynamics Ltd. in the West Midlands is seeking a reliable Hose Fitter to assemble, fit, and test hydraulic and pneumatic hoses to tight quality standards on a busy production line.

You will read technical drawings, operate crimping machines, use measuring instruments and hand tools, and work with engineering and quality teams to ensure safe, compliant hose assemblies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Practical hose fitting skills including cutting, crimping, assembly and testing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with workshop tools and machinery and safe operating practices.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in industrial environments.
• Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
• Good teamwork and communication in a production setting.
• Basic numeracy and literacy; able to complete job cards and records.
• Experience in hose fitting, pipe assembly or related mechanical roles is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Assemble, fit and test hydraulic and pneumatic hoses per drawings and specs.
• Cut and crimp hoses, fit connectors and couplings, perform leak/pressure tests.
• Maintain tools and equipment; follow health and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and quality teams; support continuous improvement.
